THE KANAWHA EXPEDITION - POCA TO BUFFALO, (WEST) VIRGINIA

On this day, the 16th Ohio, along with Col. John DeCourcey's brigade, left their camp at Poca and marched 17 miles to Buffalo, (West) Virginia, where they camped for the night. They had camped here 18 days earlier, on October 24, on their journey toward Charleston.
