After Lightning our loads as much as possible we resumed our march at 3 1/2 P.M. and went 5 miles and camped at the Mt. Sterling road. our rations are green corn buf?? and coffee. |
" 29th |
Resumed our march at daylight and marched 12 miles camping in the woods |
" 30th |
Marched at 3 1/2 P.M. going about 15 miles camping for the night about 5 Oclock P.M. |

Started at 4 A.M. found the road very much blockaded but having a good Company of Pioneirs we were not delayed very much. they removed it as fast as Possible. we marched about 18 miles. halted at 2 A.M. |
